Step out of the cement passageways flanked by concession stands and into the airy white expanse of the U.S. Open’s seafood restaurant, and you’re likely to experience a sense of relief. Designed as a respite from the tennis spectacle, Aces keeps its sports allusions to a minimum (floors are embossed with pale green circles; bands of track lighting recall stadium lights) and features three-story ceilings, nearly-as-big windows, and a row of spacious sage banquettes. Fish and produce arrive daily for simple hyper-seasonal preparation.
